Blessed Mark Çuni Prayer Card – Patron for Youthful Faith, Courage Under Torture & Refusal to Renounce Christ

$3.00

Blessed Mark Çuni was a young Albanian Roman Catholic whose faith was tested under brutal Communist persecution. He lived in Albania during the regime’s systematic attempt to erase Christianity from public and private life, when even teenagers were interrogated, beaten, and pressured to deny God.

He is commemorated with the Albanian martyrs on November 5.

Blessed Mark was not a priest. He was not a monk. He was a young lay believer whose only “crime” was refusing to abandon Christ.

He was arrested as a youth.
He was tortured.
He was ordered repeatedly to renounce his faith.

He refused.

People pray to Blessed Mark Çuni today for courage under torture or abuse, for strength to remain faithful when pressured to compromise, and for young people struggling to stand firm in hostile environments. He understands what it means to be afraid and still choose Christ. He understands the loneliness of suffering when adults in power try to crush your conscience. He understands how terrifying it feels to be young and trapped inside systems designed to break you.

He also understands how to remain faithful anyway.

This prayer card is for teenagers facing spiritual pressure, for parents praying over their children, and for anyone whose faith is being tested through intimidation or coercion. Blessed Mark does not offer comfort without cost. He offers courage rooted in truth.

Each card is handmade in Austin and created to order. We do not keep stock, because every prayer card is treated as a unique devotional offering. They are printed on museum-quality photo paper, not cardstock, and each one is made during prayer. The saints are venerated throughout the entire process, and prayers are intentionally offered for the person who will receive the card. These are not mass-produced items. They are created slowly, reverently, and with spiritual intention, because every soul and every prayer matters.
