Stigmata Saints Prayer Card Bundle: 5 Handmade Cards
A rare grace in the life of the Church: saints who bore the wounds of Christ in their own bodies. This bundle gathers the stigmatists in our catalog, from the Capuchin of San Giovanni Rotondo to a Melkite mystic of Bethlehem and a Syro-Malabar mother of the poor.
Each of these saints is reported to have borne the wounds of Christ, the stigmata.
This bundle includes 5 different handmade prayer cards, one of each saint listed below.
The 5 cards in this bundle
- Saint Padre Pio: A Capuchin priest of San Giovanni Rotondo who bore the visible wounds of Christ for about fifty years while thousands came to him for confession and prayer.
- Saint Gemma Galgani: The Flower of Lucca, a young Italian mystic who died at twenty-five and bore visible stigmata, visions and intense suffering.
- Servant of God Irving C. “Francis” Houle: A Michigan husband, father and World War II veteran who reportedly received the stigmata on Good Friday in 1993 and spent sixteen years in a ministry of prayer.
- Mariam Baouardy: A Melkite Greek Catholic from Galilee, known as Saint Mary of Jesus Crucified, who bore the stigmata and lived through grief, trial and mystical union with Christ. She died at thirty-two in 1878.
- Saint Mariam Thresia Chiramel: A Syro-Malabar mystic and spiritual mother from Kerala, remembered for receiving the stigmata and for a hidden life of prayer for broken families. Feast: June 8.
