The Holy Myrrh-Bearing Women (Children’s Edition) prayer card tells the joyful story of the women who went to Jesus’ tomb early on Easter morning. They carried sweet oils (myrrh) to anoint His body, but instead found the stone rolled away — and an angel who told them, “He is not here; He is risen!”
These women — including Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Salome, and others — were the first to share the news of the Resurrection, becoming the Church’s earliest witnesses of hope. Their faith and courage remind children that even in sad or confusing moments, God is always working miracles of love.
