What Makes These Maronite Prayer Cards Different
Most “holy cards” today are mass-produced on thin cardboard or paper with little reverence for the saint or for the person who will one day hold them in prayer. My approach is very different. As a Maronite trying to live a hidden life of prayer and asceticism in an urban world, creating these cards and praying for people has become my own vocation. At The Eastern Church™, each card is made slowly and deliberately, one at a time. I use only museum-quality photo paper to honor the dignity of the saints, ensuring the icons are as vivid and beautiful as possible. The cards are not just laminated, but done so twice, to increase strength and make sure they last a lifetime, so your favorite prayer cards can be handed down through generations. But the materials are only part of what makes these cards different. Every step of the process is surrounded by prayer. As I prepare the image, print it, trim it, laminate it, and finish it by hand, I pray for the person who will receive it. I ask the saint’s intercession, I pray the Jesus Prayer with each movement, and I ask the Theotokos to pray for who will keep this card close. The card is gently venerated at each stage, not as an object, but as a gift that will carry someone closer to Christ. Most Wednesdays, when Maronites throughout the world pray for vocations, I pray that this small work may be my own vocation—supporting the Church, preserving our traditions, and helping others discover the joy, strength, and holiness of our saints. This is my quiet way of serving: to live a hidden ascetic life while creating something prayerful, beautiful, and lasting for those who seek God.
- Made to order: nothing sits on a shelf; your order is created specifically for you or your parish.
- Printed on archival photo paper: to capture icon detail, color, and gold tones with clarity.
- Double-laminated: for a sturdy, lifelong card that can be carried, handled, and venerated daily.
- Covered in prayer: from design to trimming, prayers are offered for the person who will receive the card.
- Faithful to tradition: honoring the spirituality, martyrs, and mystics of the Maronite Church.
These cards are ideal for parish feast days, catechism classes, retreat gifts, or simply keeping Maronite saints close on your prayer table at home.

How Each Maronite Prayer Card Is Created
Your Maronite card is not simply “printed and shipped.” It moves through a quiet, prayerful process from beginning to end.
- Design: choosing an icon and layout that truly honors the saint and Maronite tradition.
- Prayer: offering intentions for the person who will receive the card while preparing the print.
- High-resolution printing: using archival-quality photo paper so that every line of the icon remains clear.
- Double lamination: sealing the image in a durable, clear laminate that protects it for years of use.
- Hand trimming & corner rounding: each card is physically finished by hand, not by a machine stack-cutter.
From start to finish, the goal is simple: to create a small, sturdy object of devotion that helps you encounter Christ through the prayers of the Maronite saints.
